International energy Group Burisma became a partner of the 11th Annual European Gas Summit in Rotterdam – a major natural gas industry event in Europe, hosted by S&P Global Platts. The Summit welcomed more than 120 gas professionals, including many key gas producers, traders and pipeline companies operating in Europe. The key theme addressed during the event was “Gas demand-supply balance, ensuring security of supply”. Among other topics covered during the Summit were infrastructure developments and their impact, long term dynamics for gas and others.
“I think it’s safe to say that we’ve reached a major milestone and achieved a new momentum in fostering energy independence and security. We were happy to be part of the discussion and share our vast experience when it comes to turnkey solutions and innovative technologies in seismic data acquisition. We were also especially proud to demonstrate our drilling rig fleet, which is the largest in Ukraine and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe”, says Advisor to the Board of Directors at Burisma Group Vadym Pozharskyi.
At this year’s annual European Gas Summit, Burisma headed a special panel on Ukraine’s energy security. Within the key theme of the event CEO of Burisma Group Rikhard Bilyy delivered a presentation on “Ukraine’s place in the European energy independence initiatives”. According to Mr Bilyy, gas-related projects in Ukraine should receive more support and attention, as they offer a solution to Europe’s ever-growing energy market problems. For now, however, many of such promising initiatives are being unreasonably overlooked by investors.
